The Rev. Cameron Reynolds Hardy
The Reverend Cameron Reynolds Hardy serves as Associate for Christian Education of St. Peter’s, Lithgow, in Millbrook, Dutchess County, New York. In her capacity as assistant, Rev. Hardy focuses on family life, youth ministry, Christian education and curriculum development for St. Peter’s church school. In addition to her parish ministry, Rev. Hardy also serves as chaplain of Millbrook School, a non-denominational college preparatory school where she resides with her family and directs the spiritual and religious life of the community.
Rev. Hardy has taught language immersion, literature and the arts, and she has implemented programs in diversity training, global and local service learning, and human development in independent schools in California, Minnesota and New York.
Rev. Hardy earned an AB at Bowdoin College and began seminary education at United Theological Seminary in Minnesota soon thereafter, but she then took a hiatus to raise her family. More recently, Rev. Hardy returned to her seminary education and earned an M.Div. and Diploma in Anglican Studies at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. She was ordained to the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of New York in 2009 and was appointed to her position at St. Peter’s that year.
