All parishioners, would-be parishioners and drop-ins are welcome at our country church on a dirt road. Many of us are in the Millbrook area only for the weekend, but we join together to enjoy worship and fellowship each Sunday, and we return renewed and refreshed to our weekday activities. Our parish is characterized by a strong and historical commitment to intellectually challenging preaching, regular Bible study, excellent music, a vital youth education program that attracts many young families, and compassionate outreach to the surrounding community.

Each Sunday morning we have an early service at 8:00 (usually a Eucharist service), followed by the main worship service at 9:30 (usually Morning Prayer, with Eucharist once a month, usually the first Sunday). The 9:30 service is followed by a lively coffee hour in our parish hall.

On Sunday, September 21, 2014, the Vestry announced that they had unanimously voted to call The Rev. Canon Albert Joy Ogle as the 31st Vicar of St. Peter’s, Lithgow.  Rev. Ogle will arrive at St. Peter’s on Sunday, October 12, and will preach his first sermon at the 8:00 and 9:30 am Eucharist services on Sunday, November 2.  We are excited to welcome Rev. Ogle into our midst.  Here is a link to the letter to the parish with further details.

St. Peter’s is a very special and friendly community.  Whether you are new to the area or have been here forever but have never visited St. Peter’s, we welcome you at any time for a visit.
